Twenty Artists, three stages, one explosion! Submerge Supernova at Ezone.
The Submerge Supernova festival is back with its summer edition to be held on April 22 at E-Zone at Marathahalli in Bangalore. Supernova is Submerge’s most premier property in India today.
With three stages catering to different genres of electronic dance music and international heavy weight headliners, Supernova has a packed lineup of over 20 artists for the festival. A spacey and futuristic theme with a flea market and food courts are planned for the festival. Based on the theme, the festival will have big rockets, planets, spaceships and other galactic decoration adding to the décor with different lights and lasers.
J Davis Prosound & Lighting are the chosen technical partners for the second Edition, who had rocked the 2011 first edition as well.
The main stage, which will be headlined by Trance giant and Dutch legend Ferry Corsten, who has single-handedly initiated a revolution in the dance music genre, will also be dominated by all the other big room artists.
The second stage near the poolside will be headlined by Eelke Kleijn who has been a name synchronous with quality house music. This stage will see artists playing groovy, funky sounds border-lining soulful tunes and techy underground sounds. The other headliner will be Daniel Haaksman from Germany, along with Coma and Ada, playing the latest techno tunes. Alongside these names, Indian talent like Midival Punditz, Pearl, Sanjay Dutta, Nawed Khan, DJ Swing, Audio Units (Live Set), Praveen Achary, BLOT and Vachan Chinnappa will showcase their best.
Submerge will also be running a backstage access contest on Facebook to meet the artists. Hosted by Nikhil Chinapa, co-founder of Submerge, and Rohit Barker, RJ and DJ, the festival will witness the best of technology being used for visuals and setup.
