Bangalore Fashion Week – 6th Edition

J Davis Prosound & Lighting Chosen for 6th edition of Bangalore Fashion Week.

After a successful Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week ’Winter / Festive’ in July last year, the Blenders Pride Bangalore Fashion Week returns to showcase the ‘Summer / Showers’ collections. The theme of this edition of the fashion week is Summer Showers.

The 6th edition of BPBFW again will bring together designers from all over the world. The 4 day event will have shows from internationally acclaimed designers such as Ritu Beri, Abdul Halder, Swapnil Shinde,Bo Carter, Mustafa Hassan Ali, Pam & Arch, Ramesh Dembla among many others.

With every season, BPBFW is noticing an increase in designer applications and buyer registrations. This season too marked an enormous increase in designer applications and also saw an overwhelming response in international and domestic buyer company registrations as compared to last season. This reinforces BPBFW’s belief in the strategic shift and the platforms understanding of the market and its business needs.

This season will exhibit outstanding talent of established and emerging designers who will showcase their creativity and designs of Summer & Showers wear, a year round fashion concept. The coming season and years will see an increased exposure for Indian designers to buyers, media and the global fashion industry.

This edition of the BPBFW will host a grand finale by acclaimed designer Ritu Beri. The highlight is that the celebrated designer will be showcasing in South India for the very first time.

Storm Festival

J Davis Prosound & Lighting all set to rock the Storm Festival at Coorg!!!!!

Storm, a campout music festival organised by LiquidSpace Entertainment, initially scheduled to be held on Nov. 11 and Nov. 12 in Coorg, has now been rescheduled to be held on Jan. 20 and Jan. 21.

Storm has been initiated by Liquidspace and will showcase an eclectic mix of electronic music bands. The festival will have bands and DJs like Indian Ocean, Leslie Lewis, The Raghu Dixit Project, Richard Durand, Thomas Gold, Pearl, Nikhil Chinapa, DJ Swing (Official DJ Of Storm) and others performing live with the best of the Technical expertise from J Davis Prosound & Lighting, Bangalore

Storm a two-day authentic campout music festival to be held in the hills of the beautiful district of Coorg in Karnataka. Storm aspires to showcase the natural beauty of Coorg, the Scotland of India, and encourage responsible tourism through its initiative against the usage of plastic and drugs.”

It also aims to be a complete experience for all age groups and will feature multiple stages, food corners, a flea market, an adventure zone and a camping area, where each individual at the festival can enjoy the music, nature, food and adventure”.

Sonu Nigam concert – Mysore

J Davis Prosound and Lighting is chosen to provide technical services (sound & lights) for the Sonu Nigam concert in Mysore at Maharaja Grounds on the 30th of December 2011.

Indian playback singer Sonu Nigam will cast his spell on music lovers with his rocking performance at Maharaja Grounds, Mysore, Karnataka on Dec. 30, 2011 f. The popular Bollywood singer will take the audience, mostly the youth, on a musical journey for over four hours, belting out his latest numbers, including those he has sung in Kannada.
